Save Water, Do Your Bit !


The following is a copy of an e-mail, forwarded to us by the Durban Chamber of Commerce. In the interest of the public; we share this information with you.

"Dear Members

After liaison with eThekweni Municipality and in light of the imminent shut-down we would like to urge members to take note of some key water saving measures.

PLEASE DO NOT

1. Wash cars using hose pipes

2. Water Gardens

3. Fill swimming pools

4. Wash hands under running water

5. Wash dishes without putting a stopper in the sink.


WE URGE YOU TO PLEASE


1. Shower in place of bathing
2. Repair any water leak immediately

3. Flush toilets if necessary .... Remember one flush may use up to 15L of water.

4. Close Tap when brushing teeth, washing hair or shaving.

5. Report any burst pipes on 080 131 3013


The Durban Chamber of Commerce & Industry would like to urge that Members inform all staff of this situation.
